Those who really know me understand that I have a really insane work ethic. Yes, that’s right, I work hard and rarely sleep. So it won’t come as a surprise that today, I’m taking a break.
Well, not really taking a break, because I’ve already put in two hours of work on editing and creating the next best writing critique site out there. But sometimes the body just tells you to shut down and sleep. And after waking up at 2 am this morning, I’m realizing that I’m really human after all. Pushing the body is not a good thing if I want to enjoy the last part of my life with my wife. Oh, and don’t forget about the cats. And while my to-do list is not shrinking, I understand that productivity is best when one is rested. Which means, today I’m calling it a break day. Just a little more work and I’m off to play HAWKEN, then sleep. And if the stars align, I’ll work on a project that has been 5 years in the making.
It means another day with everything put on hold and Doug takes a timeout. Hope that does not disappoint anyone, for I really need this little break.
