I’m trying something new with the reimagined Spear series. Yes, that’s right, get the mad scientist hat on for this one.

One of the hardest things a writer and publisher needs to overcome is getting reviews for their work. Yes, it is difficult and time consuming. And after a number of days and sleepless nights struggling over the issue I found Net Galley. Now, for those struggling artists, it is not an easy pill to swallow, for the cost of the service is steep, but it could be something that is worth looking at, and one option is coming to my mind on this as well.
I came across a co-op service that allow you to use the Net Galley service for a small fee. I’m not yet telling you to use it, for they are basically printing money with their service, but there are a few options that are coming to my mind.
You may or may not be aware that I run a site called Arc Reviewers. This site allows authors to post their books to a number of reviewers for free. It is a nice site, but could be better. This is where the mad scientist cap comes in. Maybe I could make a better option than the co-op that I joined for Net Galley? Of course, it is true that the service will need to generate an income, but for sure I can do better than they have put together.

Maybe it is time to start re-imagining the site and working on a solution for authors that will not pull so much money out of their pocket. A change of Arc Reviewers to that of a Net Galley co-op. Well, let’s first wait until the Jury is out on what I am doing now before I stretch my wings into this new endevour.
